Welcome,
my name is Giuseppe Ponzio, breeder, for over twenty years, and connoisseur of
Spanish Breed Canaries.
I live in the city of Torrile San Polo in the province of Parma.
My passion and affection for the canaries began at the tender age of six years old when
my father gave me the first copy wich i grew up and cared for about four year.
Just nine yeas I have contributed to the care of a breeding canaries race bronze and received, for the collaboration scope, agift of a pair
of birds in the same strain.
Over the years my attachment to these birds thrived as much as the number of canaries.
At twelve I added to my small herd of four pairs of canaries piebald and two
pairs of canaries gloster.
Together with my passion waned even pocket money is both a daily weeekly that was
entirely paid for feeding and care birds.
After about three years I received the gift of a pair of canaries Spanish breed.
The species poultry conquered me immediately and I particulary fascinates
even today.
At the same time attending to the first exhibition of canaries of my
country.
1996 was the year in wich it was shown for the first time in public during that review
of the city the canary Spanish breed.
I was given on than occasion, for the commitment, professionalism,
peculiar contribution shown during the preparatgion of the entire
stand and a specimen of canary Spanish race, the 1st place medal.
In contiguity with passion of breeder development with time also that for the ornicoltura,
the ibridologia.
Many birds that I grew up, negriti, greenfinch, siskins, crossbillks,
bullfinches, canaries of head, yellow belly, sant'elena, goldfinches hybridized
and ancestral, and also peppole.
At the age of twenty-two years I put up a real and its culture of canaries in local of about 15 square meters consisting of numerous aviaries,
equipment, tools and equipment of last generartion.
Today, after about fifteen year of experience, knowledge, attachment, market interventions and attendance at various
exhibitions at national level and short international achievement of wealthy
and conspicuous palmares (I would say of undisputed elite), have become a real
Estimator and Breeder of Canary Spanish Breed.
I conclude by thanking my wife Giusy Cuba that lately
participates in and supports the good performance of breeding and
the project.
